Shipper Receiver

Position: Shipper Receiver Role at Atkore
Join Atkore's shipping team in Mississauga as a Shipper/Receiver. This full-time position focuses on efficient loading, unloading, and delivery logistics during the afternoon shift.

As a pivotal team member, you will manage both shipments and incoming goods, ensuring compliance with safety procedures. This role requires experience with forklifts and a commitment to maintaining organized records and effective communication with team members. Your contributions will support Atkore's mission in manufacturing and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Package, unpack, and inspect goods thoroughly

• Operate necessary equipment, including forklifts

• Review orders for loading layout to optimize space

• Prepare documentation for shipping and delivery

• Conduct monthly inventory counts and maintain records

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Forklift operation experience (1-3 years)

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

• Capable of manual lifting (up to 50 lbs)
