Bus Allocator

Position: Bus Allocator at City
Help drive bus service efficiency with the City of Mississauga as a Bus Allocator. You'll coordinate bus servicing and maintain schedules in this dynamic role.

This position reports to the Supervisor of Transit Operations. Responsibilities include organizing the cleaning of buses, managing service plans, and ensuring communication with the Transit Control team. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining operational safety and supporting the smooth flow of services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate cleaning schedules for bus interiors and exteriors

• Organize buses according to service plans and needs

• Maintain accurate parking sheets for proper bus storage

• Report safety infractions promptly to management

• Provide backup to other Bus Al locators during absences

Requirements:

• Completed secondary school education or equivalent experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Basic computer skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work various shifts, including overnight

• Valid driver’s license abstract acceptable to the City
