MiWay Supervisor in Transit Maintenance

Become a leader in transit vehicle maintenance at MiWay as a Supervisor. Oversee operations ensuring safety and compliance, while managing skilled personnel in Mississauga's transit environment.

This role involves supervising the inspection, servicing, and repair of transit buses and other vehicles. The Supervisor will report to the Assistant Manager and play a crucial part in maintaining fleet availability while promoting a safe workplace. A 310T Truck and Coach certificate is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise maintenance staff for safety and efficiency

• Manage work schedules and equipment allocation

• Create and manage work orders using technology

• Ensure compliance with all safety and operational regulations

• Lead performance monitoring and employee support

Requirements:

• Valid 310T Truck and Coach Qualification

• Minimum five years of maintenance experience required

• Three years of supervisory experience is a plus

• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance practices

• Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence
