Drive kitchen deliveries for Kids & Company in Mississauga, using route planning and careful vehicle inspections. This on-call schedule runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM as needed.
Reporting to the Head Chef, the On-Call Kitchen Driver supports day-to-day kitchen operations and Kids & Company standards. The work combines loading delivery vans, following manifests, maintaining vehicles, and returning equipment. Friendly customer service, respectful manners, and a tidy appearance are important in this childcare center environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Load vans according to delivery manifests
- Follow routes and schedules for on-time deliveries
- Inspect lights, signals, and vehicle wear daily
- Report vehicle issues and warning lights immediately
- Clean and organize returned delivery equipment
- Minimum age of 26 for insurance purposes
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Three or more years' driving or work experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy loads exceeding 50 pounds
- Successful background check and possible medical assessment
