Handle freight for Fed Ex by loading, unloading, scanning, and sorting packages within the facility. Transport shipments between facilities as required.
This Package Handler position supports Fed Ex operations through freight movement and facility processing. Duties include scanning, sorting, loading, unloading, and transporting freight. Candidates should have good interpersonal skills, complete required training, and meet the stated physical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and unload freight within the facility
- Scan and sort freight accurately
- Transport freight within and between facilities
- Operate in a PC Windows environment
- Complete assigned duties and mandatory testing
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to complete basic and recurrency training
- Ability to lift 70 pounds
- Ability to maneuver packages up to 150 pounds with equipment
Support Fed Ex freight operations through safe package handling, accurate scanning, facility sorting, and transportation between facilities.
