Coordinate aircraft loading and unloading for Fed Ex while leading cargo handlers and supporting operations. This interview position requires communication and leadership skills.
The Ramp Agent coordinates aircraft ground activities and provides operational and personnel support. You may perform courier, cargo handler, or dispatcher duties as required. The position emphasizes mentoring hourly employees, conflict resolution, Best Practices methods, and support for Fed Ex operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate aircraft loading and unloading operations
- Lead cargo handlers during ground support activities
- Provide operational and personnel support
- Mentor hourly employees through role model behaviour
- Perform courier, cargo handler, or dispatcher duties
- High school education or equivalent
- Six months aircraft operations or ground equipment experience
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driver's licence and good driving record
- Ability to lift 70 pounds and manoeuvre 150-pound packages
