Position: Warehouse Associate I

Bio-Rad is currently looking for a Warehouse Associate to join its dynamic team in Mississauga. This position performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges.

Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory warehouse and distribution center.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Performs various routine physical tasks involved in one or more areas including but not limited to receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping or distributing of materials, parts, supplies, equipment, finished goods, label, lot or serial control.
  • Unpacks, checks goods received against work orders, purchase orders, invoices, return authorizations, or other job completion documentation.
  • Packages materials including but not limited to labeling of products/packages. Counts, sorts, put printed materials in packages. Prepares packages for
  • Performs cycle counts as required
  • Operates packaging, sealing and other equipment including motorized/non-motorized material handling machines, parts, supplies as needed. May operate forklift or related equipment.
  • Completes or maintains records. Quarantines items if needed.
  • Examines, stocks, distributes materials in inventory.
  • Maintains work area neat, clean and in order and adheres to all rules, standards, processes and instructions.
  • What You Bring:
  • High School Diploma
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience working in warehousing or distribution
  • Experience working in cold storage conditions (refrigerator and freezer)
  • Experience using radio frequency equipment.
  • Experience with SAP systems preferred
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Basic computer, math, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience and ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks or applicable equipment utilized in the workplace.
  • Knowledge of ISO, DOT, WHIMIS, MSDS and IATA requirements.
  • Knowledge of all safety policies and procedures, and handling of dangerous goods and/or hazardous materials.
