Position Summary
The Shipping Office Clerk plays a key role in supporting warehouse transportation operations by coordinating drivers and managing all associated shipping and delivery documentation. This position is responsible for scheduling and dispatching drivers, preparing and verifying delivery paperwork, confirming load accuracy, and serving as a primary point of contact for drivers to ensure timely departures, accurate documentation, and compliance with company, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and organizational skills are essential to support smooth daily dispatch and delivery operations.

Compensation and Benefits

Employment Type:

Full‑time (40 hours per week)

Hourly Wage:  CA $28.86‑CA $30.36/hr (+CA $1.00/hr evening shift premium)

Duties & Responsibilities

Purchase order entry

Preparing bills of lading for drivers

Scheduling inbound/outbound shipments

Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments; comparing and identifying information, and counting, weighing, or measuring items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information

Responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in a Warehouse Setting an asset

Previous customer service experience is an asset

Must have excellent math and computer skills

Additional duties as required

Self‑motivated

Schedule

8‑hour day shift, rotating from day to afternoon shift

Monday to Friday

Language Requirements

French not required

Location & Work Arrangement

Mississauga/Halton Hills, Ontario

Candidates must be able to reliably commute or relocate prior to starting

On‑site position, five days per week
