Guest Supply Canada, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sysco, specializes in the distribution of personal care amenities, textiles, paper products, and hotel room accessories to the Travel and Leisure industry.

Role Overview
Warehouse Associate (Reach Truck Operator) responsibilities include shipping, receiving, putaway, replenishment, item demand, consolidation, count checks, loading and unloading of trucks.

Role Responsibilities

Using the Reach Truck, responsible for putaway received shipments and conveying items from the Receiving area or Staging area to Home, Overflow, or Bulk location.

Able to move goods packed on pallets around the warehoused facility.

Unloading & Loading of Shipments

Unload inbound shipments and convey product to staging area to be received.

Inspect, count & examine all shipments against PO’s for damages and/or discrepancies.

Document all overages, shortages and damages.

Ensure that all necessary signatures are on the driver’s paperwork before the driver is released.

Wrap pallets by machine or hand to ensure stability.

Replenishment, Item Demand, Count Checks and Consolidation

Convey items from storage locations to Home/Bulk locations.

Consolidate like items in storage locations to maximize warehouse space.

Count inventory to make sure product quantities are correct.

Receiving, Picking and Shipping of Warehouse Items

Receive incoming product in accordance with correct PO numbers.

Complete discrepancy forms for any overages, shortages or damages.

Break down & separate product by specific item numbers.

Select various orders within the warehouse.

Stack product on pallets to be conveyed to outbound staging area.

Check pallets brought to staging area for errors.

Adjust pallet quantities from one pallet to another to ensure even weight distribution on the pallets.

Warehouse Housekeeping and Safety

Clean dock areas & all assigned aisles in accordance with warehouse policy.

Comply with all Safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements

2 years Reach truck operating experience is required.

Reach truck certification required.

Proficient in the operation of Powered Industrial Trucks such as stand‑up reach truck or sit‑down truck and other industrial equipment (e.g., double pallet jack). 1‑2 years’ related experience preferred.

Warehouse Management System (e.g., WMS-High Jump/People Soft) experience preferred.

Experience with RF or Voice devices preferred but not required.

Extended hours of work required occasionally including weekends.

Possess a high level of attention to detail.

Able to repeatedly lift over 50 lbs.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
