About the Role:

The Shipper/Driver is responsible for the accurate and timely coordination of shipments related to manufacturing, service, and aftermarket parts moving into and out of the Ridgeway and Speakman warehouse locations. This role supports the pickup and delivery of materials using the company truck as assigned by the Team Leader.

The position also supports product packaging, shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments, inventory control activities, and annual physical inventory counts. The successful candidate ensures efficient warehouse operations while maintaining compliance with company quality, safety, and transportation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all inventory control activities, including receiving, shipping, inventory adjustments, put-away, picking, and work order closures.

  • Coordinate the timely movement of parts and systems between Ridgeway and Speakman locations based on production and shipping schedules.

  • Ensure delivery schedules are met and proactively identify and communicate any issues that may impact timelines.

  • Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company safety requirements.

  • Adhere to all company Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and standards.

  • Support customer system shipments in collaboration with Logistics, Manufacturing, and other internal teams.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

  • Assist with training and mentoring warehouse staff on procedures, processes, and best practices.

  • Support the optimization of warehouse space utilization and storage efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate truck delivery logs and transportation records.

  • Coordinate routine truck maintenance, inspections, and fuel replenishment.

  • Support annual physical inventory counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.

  • Assist with packaging and preparation of products and materials for local and international shipments.

  • Managing multiple shipment priorities while ensuring accuracy and adherence to production and delivery schedules.

  • Coordinating inventory movements across multiple warehouse locations.

  • Maintaining inventory accuracy while supporting day-to-day warehouse operations.

  • Identifying and resolving shipping, inventory, or transportation issues in a timely manner.

  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and transportation regulations while operating equipment and vehicles.

  • Supporting operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment.

  • Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a warehouse, stores, shipping, receiving, or logistics environment.

  • Post-secondary diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience using ERP systems for warehouse and inventory transactions.
