Shipper​/Receiver​/Reach Operator

** Our client a leading distributor that has been in business for over 70 years located in Mississauga is looking to add a Shipper/Receiver with Reach for short shift to their team*
* Great opportunity for long term opportunities with potential for direct hire after 3 months.

Job Duties:

Responsible for the receiving, put-away, picking, packing, cross-docking and/or shipping of customer orders in a high-paced environment, ensuring our customers receive what they need when they need it.

Track shipment status, and provide updates to customers, as required.

Receive and inspect products upon delivery to verify quality and completeness, maintaining our reputation of reliability.

Accurately document and communicate incidents appropriately to ensure we learn and improve through our challenges.

Maintain a safe and clean workspace, and report health & safety related concerns, upholding our commitment to Health & Safety.

Collaborate and communicate with key partners and colleagues to maintain an effective, unified team-focused goal of delivering to our customers’ needs.

Actively model our positive culture through teamwork and collaboration with all team members at all times.

Participate in occasional overtime, as required, to maintain our accountability for delivering on our customers’ needs

Pay Rate $22.00 an hour plus 4% vacation pay.

Requirements:

Must have certification Reach

Must have minimum 6 months Reach experience

Excellent communication skills

Basic math and analytical skills

(2) pieces of Government issued Photo  Proof of SIN.

CSA Safety Shoes or Boots.

Clear Criminal Record Search.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Must be able to work in fast paced environment.

Must have good communication skills oral and written.

Previous experience with RF Scanner an asset.

Previous shipping and picking experience (an asset)
