Warehouse Production Associate - Afternoon Shift (4 Ten hour shifts)  Status:
Regular, Full time

Location:

Mississauga, Ontario

Job Description:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Production Associate prepares orders, packs goods and ships orders in a timely manner.
Warehouse Employee Tasks/ Responsibilities   Ensure all job functions are performed in accordance with the NCS Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
Complete the various functions of the cutting process, including:
Rolling reels into place at the cutting machine Loading reels onto cutting machine Cutting wire to length based on orders Removing finished reels from cutting machine Entering all production information into NCS system (Rubicon) Completing all types of cuts (small line, big line, pre cuts and parallels)
Operate equipment in a safe manner according to Health and Safety guidelines
Keep workstation clean and organized
Complete the various functions of the order picking process, including:
Operating warehouse equipment such as a forklift, a reach truck and the order picker Picking orders Returning material back to stock once cuts have been completed Using the system to properly process all transactions/inventory movements Complete daily equipment checklist before using equipment Participate in the daily Cycle Counting process Sweep aisles, walkways and work areas
Performs any other duties as required by management.

Required Qualifications /Skills   High school diploma
Capability to work as a team player
Excellent Physical condition
Good Math skills
Excellent communication skills in both English and French
Current forklift certification
Able to work with minimal supervision
Warehouse experience is an asset
RF experience is an asset
