Heavy General Labourer

Adecco is currently hiring several full-time Heavy General Labour Associates for our client's warehouse operations in Mississauga, ON . This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment, enjoy physically active work, and are committed to safety, accuracy, and productivity.

• Pay Rate: $ 18.60/hour
• Location: Mississauga, ON
• Shift: 12:00pm - 8:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely and efficiently
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying shipments and inventory counts
• Palletize products according to customer and warehouse requirements
• Build, wrap, label, and stage pallets for shipment
• Move products and materials throughout the warehouse manually or using pallet jacks
• Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Assist with order picking and packaging as required
• Maintain accurate records using RF scanners and warehouse systems
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping and other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 3 months of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or general labour experience required
• Previous experience palletizing, unloading containers, or working in a distribution centre is considered an asset
• Experience using RF scanners is an asset but not required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, twist, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
