SALARY: $45.20 per Hour
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 30-35 hours/Week
WORK SETTING:
Warehouse
- Oversee the daily warehouse operations for computers, computer components, peripherals, accessories and other related products, ensuring products move efficiently from receiving through final shipment.
- Manage the receiving and put-away of incoming products, ensuring quantities, product specifications and shipment records are verified and items are stored in their designated locations.
- Oversee inventory management activities and maintain accurate stock records, including monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular counts and resolving discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Coordinate the processing of customer and business orders, including product picking, order verification, packing, staging and shipment, while ensuring orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Organize warehouse workflows, staffing requirements and daily priorities according to incoming shipments, order volumes, inventory requirements and overall business demands.
- Work closely with purchasing, sales, suppliers, courier and transportation providers, and other departments to coordinate product availability, incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments.
- Monitor warehouse performance, operating costs, inventory accuracy and order fulfillment, prepare operational reports, and identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce errors and optimize the use of warehouse space and resources.
- Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate warehouse personnel, establish work expectations, ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures, and provide leadership in maintaining an efficient and professional warehouse operation.
- Completion of Secondary School is required.
- College degree or diploma in related field is an asset.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience is in the position or related position
- Ability to supervise 5-10 people
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented multi-tasking environment
- Fluent in English and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, flexible, good time management, organizational, good team work and Interpersonal Skills.
