About Remote Robotic Systems

Help move the technology behind advanced robotics and autonomous systems operating across air, land, and sea.

Remote Robotic Systems (RRS) is a Canadian robotics and defence‑tech company helping organizations deploy drones, robotic platforms, sensors, payloads, and remote operations technologies for mission‑critical applications across defence, public safety, security, industrial, infrastructure, energy, and government sectors.

We’re a fast‑moving team that values ownership, practical problem solving, careful follow‑through, and people who can bring order and accuracy to operational work.

The Role

RRS is looking for a dependable and detail‑oriented Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving, inventory, documentation, and logistics at our Mississauga location.

You will receive and organise incoming materials, prepare outgoing shipments, maintain inventory records, and help ensure high‑value technology products are handled, documented, and shipped carefully. This is an opportunity for someone with warehouse, shipping and receiving, or inventory experience to grow within a fast‑paced technology environment.

What You Will Work On
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, shortages, and discrepancies.
  • Record incoming products and stock movements accurately in the inventory system.
  • Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer and internal shipments.
  • Verify product descriptions, quantities, part numbers, and serial numbers before shipment.
  • Prepare packing slips, commercial invoices, customs documents, bills of lading, and other shipment records.
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries with couriers, freight carriers, and logistics providers.
  • Organize warehouse storage locations and keep materials accessible and properly documented.
  • Complete cycle counts and assist with physical inventory and discrepancy investigations.
  • Maintain accurate records for drones, batteries, and other serialized equipment.
  • Safely handle and package drones, robotic systems, batteries, electronic components, and other high‑value equipment.
  • Coordinate with technical and service teams to confirm required inspections are complete before shipment.
  • Support returns, backorders, warranty shipments, freight claims, and other warehouse activities as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements.
Core Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, or inventory management.
  • Experience reading purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, commercial invoices, or similar shipping documents.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, inventory systems, ERP systems, or shipping software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
  • Dependable, punctual, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Able to stand and move throughout the workday.
  • Able to safely lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs, with appropriate assistance or equipment when required.
  • Able to work on‑site in Mississauga, Ontario.
Nice to Have
  • Experience operating a pallet jack or pump truck.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Experience using UPS, Fed Ex, freight carrier, or similar shipping platforms.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, technology, electronics, robotics, or distribution.
  • Familiarity with inventory control, serialized equipment, customs documentation, or international shipping.
  • Familiarity with WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods requirements, or lithium‑ion battery handling.
What Will Make You Successful
  • You verify shipment and inventory details before completing the work.
  • You handle products and equipment carefully and safely.
  • You maintain accurate, current, and easy‑to‑follow records.
  • You notice damaged, missing, or incorrectly supplied items and raise concerns promptly.
