Support product flow at The Home Depot as a Distribution Centre Warehouse Associate using material handling equipment and organized work practices.
This warehouse associate role processes goods through receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities. You will operate assigned equipment, collaborate with Operations Managers and area coordinators, and serve internal distribution teams and stores. The position reports to an Operations Manager or Assistant Manager, depending on location.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive, unload, palletize, pick, pack, and process goods
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
- Load, sort, stage, transport, and move products
- Collaborate with managers, coordinators, and associates
- Maintain orderly work areas and complete assignments timely
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Availability for a set schedule
- Forklift knowledge is an asset
