About the Memphis Symphony Chorus

The Memphis Symphony Chorus is a volunteer ensemble comprised of talented singers from across the Mid‑South. The chorus meets weekly (Monday evenings) and performs repertory across the entire spectrum of genre, from great oratorios, requiems, other classic master works, to world music, gospel, and exciting pops concerts.

Membership grows through a twice‑yearly audition process. Potential new members must have a strong singing voice, the ability to read music, a love of great choral music across genres, and the time and energy to commit to a weekly rehearsal schedule.
