Early Childhood Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Specialist to join our team in Akron, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and development, as well as experience working with young children in a classroom setting. The Early Childhood Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, assessing the developmental needs of each child, and working closely with parents and caregivers to support the growth and development of their children.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children
- Assess the developmental needs of each child and create individualized learning plans
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support the growth and development of their children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Monitor and track the progress of each child and make adjustments to curriculum as needed
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and implement new strategies as appropriate
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Previous experience working with young children in a classroom setting
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential
