The Welding Instructor is responsible for providing welding instruction and training to students in the welding program. This individual develops individual achievement plans and evaluates student progress to ensure student retention and success in the program.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED required
· A minimum of one-year experience in teaching or related field required
· Welding certification, license, or accreditation in the state of MS or accreditation by a professional trade organization required
· Stick / MIG / TIG experience required
· Plasma Cut / Oxy Fuel Cut / Oxy Fuel Track Burn Cut / Air Carbon Arc Gouging experience strongly preferred
· Previous Job Corps experience preferred
· Must possess a valid Driver’s License and meet company insurability requirements
