Director, Institutional Research and Assessment

• Provides feedback to the administration on institutional strengths and weaknesses as revealed by the assessment process, via reports and briefing
• Recommends policies and/or procedures when applicable whichwill improve institutional effectiveness and/or institutional assessment
• Assists in identifying data required for effective institutional planning for assessing achievement when necessary and/or requested.
• Coordinates and assists in gathering, assessing and synthesizing data and information required for decision-making when necessary and/or as required.
• Cooperates and collaborates with other individuals,department/units of the university in carrying out their duties and responsibilities relative to assessment and providing external entities with information/data
• Other related duties, as assigned

Master’s degree from an accredited institution is required.

Doctoral degree is preferred.

Three (3) years’ related experience Licenses/CertificationsN/A

• Knowledge of data retrieval procedures and effective assessment methodologies
• Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and interpersonal
• Strong time management skills
• Proficient use of Microsoft Suite
• Ability to work well with colleagues and foster a collegialenvironment conducive to teamwork
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, develop, and implement a widerange of training programs independently and in collaboration with University administrators
• Ability to facilitates the academic program review process
