This is a seconded position, meaning the selected candidate will be employed by ITAC but work full-time on assignment with one of our clients. While day-to-day responsibilities will be managed on-site with the client, ITAC provides ongoing support, resources, and benefits as your employer.

We are seeking an experienced BIM Modeler to join our team. This role is pivotal in developing and managing Building Information Models for a large-scale industrial project, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project standards. This position involves advanced modeling, clash detection, documentation, and collaboration within multidisciplinary environments.

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
• Create and update scope documents, specifications, and discipline narratives related to BIM deliverables.
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues across multiple disciplines.
• Generate construction documents, shop drawings, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.

• Support development and maintenance of BIM execution plans, project schedules, and deliverable timelines.
• Track modeling progress and report variances against project requirements.
• Assist in planning coordination meetings and identifying design risks early in the process.

• Participate in estimating, sales support, and proposal development through model-based data.
• Prepare BIM documentation and reports for internal and client review.
• Contribute to professional development activities and stay current with BIM technologies and standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in BIM modeling for industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary project environments and construction workflows.
• Experience in creating design drawings and extracting data from BIM models.
• Knowledge of construction documentation and coordination processes.
• Experience in manufacturing and industrial construction environment.
• Experience in industrial construction design.

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
