Mechanical Design Engineer - Energy Systems

This role focuses on the design and development of mechanical components and systems for innovative energy solutions, including solar, wind, and energy storage technologies. • Design and develop mechanical systems and components for renewable energy applications (e.g., solar trackers, wind turbine components, battery enclosures).
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Perform mechanical analyses, including stress, fatigue, and thermal analysis, using FEA tools.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers to integrate mechanical designs into complete systems.
• Oversee the manufacturing and assembly of prototypes and production units, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
• Conduct performance testing and validation of mechanical components and systems.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.
• Research and evaluate new materials and technologies for improved energy system performance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of product design and manufacturing processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on energy systems or related fields (e.g., automotive, industrial equipment).
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Solid Works or Inventor.
• Experience with FEA software for structural and thermal analysis.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, material properties, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, energy storage) is a significant advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience managing design projects from concept to completion.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
