Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager — Raymond, MS (Relocation Available)
Ready to lead safety for a multi‑site manufacturing operation where your voice matters and your work has visible impact? We’re hiring an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to elevate compliance, reduce risk, and strengthen a proactive safety culture across four Mississippi facilities.
Relocation support is available for candidates open to moving.
- Own and improve site‑wide EHS compliance aligned with OSHA and EPA requirements
- Partner with operations leaders to build a strong, engaged safety culture
- Create and execute an EHS strategy focused on continuous improvement and measurable results
- Develop, implement, and maintain programs that prevent injuries, incidents, and non‑compliance
- Coordinate required and proactive EHS training in partnership with internal training resources
- Lead safety audits, inspections, and routine walkthroughs; identify gaps and drive corrective actions
- Investigate incidents and injuries, determine root cause, and ensure sustainable fixes
- Manage hazardous materials communication, including SDS documentation and related processes
- Provide practical technical guidance to leadership on EHS risks, controls, and compliance priorities
- Stay up to date on regulatory changes and industry best practices
- Support consistent programs across sites (respiratory protection, fall protection, emergency response, hazard communication, and more)
- Perform other duties as needed to support operational safety and environmental goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety/Health
, or a related field - 5+ years of EHS experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and environmental regulations
- Comfort building programs, leading training, and influencing leaders without relying on authority
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and confident facilitation in group settings
- Tech‑savvy with inspection tools/equipment and proficient with common business software
- Working understanding of industrial equipment, machine controls, and automation
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with/knowledge of VPP or similar safety excellence frameworks
