Summary
PBMHR has an opening for a child and youth Clinician to provide services at a mental health center in Richton, MS. This position would work with children and youth with a serious mental illness diagnosis. Full time Monday through Friday 8a-5p, no on call duties.

• Master's degree in behavioral health field required
• Clinical license preferred; must obtain within 90 days of hire
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record

• Behavioral health experience preferred
• Behavioral health internship required
• Excellent communication skills required
• Independent work ability

• Ask appropriate questions during clinical intake documentation to elicit information.
• Assist consumers in establishing realistic therapeutic goals.
• Participate in team staffings and function as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide clinical therapy services and emergency services to consumers and their families.
• Provide written record of consumers' progress through the therapeutic process.
• Use information obtained in clinical observations to suggest diagnosis and severity of condition.
