Primary Function:
Responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient distribution and management of linen in a healthcare setting.
Key Duties:Deliver and collect clean and soiled linen, organize storage areas, manage inventory levels, record data accurately, and respond to customer service calls professionally. Maintain cleanliness and order in linen storage and manage linen carts to meet prescribed par levels, following policies and procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:Perform other duties as assigned, work with both clean and soiled linen, and ensure proper handling in accordance with policies.
Qualifications & Skills:Excellent communication, a customer-first attitude, ability to work well in a team, and a positive, energetic outlook.
Decision-Making:Influences quantities and scheduling of linen deliveries to customers.
Licenses &Certifications:
Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and meet vaccine requirements.
Physical & Work Environment:Active and physically demanding role requiring walking up to 5 miles daily, lifting and pushing linen loads up to 70 pounds, and handling soiled textiles safely. Flexibility to fulfill various shift roles as needed.
