Second-level Vocational training position responsible for working with patients admitted to Mississippi State Hospital and improving the transition process to the community, when applicable. Work responsibilities include and are not limited to facilitating or co-facilitating group sessions and spending individual time with patients providing and promoting wellness-based services, developing Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP), collaborating with professional staff and serving as a member of the treatment team.

Must be a certified peer support specialist (CPSS) in the State of Mississippi.

Successful candidates must have a good attitude, be ready and willing to learn and grow, have strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, and excellent organizational skills.

Typically requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 2+ years of relevant experience/education and/or relevant certifications/licenses.
