What You Will Do- Deskside Support:
Own the end‑user experience, ensuring a performant and reliable technological experience for our customers. - Problem solving:
Perform root cause analysis and remediation of technical issues, demonstrating a high level of initiative. - Camera System Management:
Maintain a large fleet of security and production cameras, coordinating new installations and troubleshooting existing ones. - Asset Reliability:
Perform root cause analysis and remediation of technical issues with manufacturing sensors. - Collaboration:
Coordinate with systems, network, and database administrators to implement application or system design specifications. - Communication:
Maintain effective communications with customers regarding activities, problems, status, timelines, and other details. - Operational Excellence:
Drive operational excellence with a strong focus on safety and value creation. - Knowledge Sharing:
Share knowledge about standards and best practices with other manufacturing facilities. - Transformation:
Translate business requirements into value‑driven actions, working independently and as part of a larger support team.
- At least 2 years of experience doing incident management and problem resolution using a ticketing platform (e.g., Service Now, Zendesk, Solar Winds).
- Experience with administering and troubleshooting camera systems (e.g., Genetec, Milestone, Axis).
- Hands‑on experience supporting a diverse technology stack (Windows desktop and server, tablets, peripherals, network technologies, Active Directory, etc.).
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and document.
- Excellent attitude, great phone etiquette, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to participate in a rotating 24/7 on‑call support schedule.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds, work in various manufacturing mill environments, and climb stairs.
- Industry technical certifications or equivalent knowledge (Network+, Security+, CCNA, VMware VCP‑DCV, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of firewalls, how to design appropriate rules, and troubleshoot issues.
- General understanding of virtualization concepts and available technologies.
- Knowledge of cyber hygiene best practices around endpoint management, network segmentation, password management, etc.
- Experience in IT/OT support in a manufacturing environment.
