Position SummaryThe Supply Chain Manager oversees the flow of goods and materials into, within, and out of the company. This role ensures sufficient materials on hand to produce product, timely delivery of finished goods to customers, accurate inventory management, and controlled costs.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and manage the supply chain process from purchasing to delivery.
- Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
- Coordinate transportation and customs for domestic and international shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Lead and support the supply chain team.
- Track key performance indicators for the logistics department, reporting on costs, delivery times, and inventory accuracy.
- Solve problems related to delays or supply issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of shipping terms and international trade.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Experience working for or with a German company.
