Kalmbach's objective for our Control Room Operator is a person who can work hard to learn our automated systems in a way to keep our team members safe, own quality of our superior feeds, and to work hard with other team members to delight our customers.

• Operate our automated pelleting system in a way that prioritizes safety and quality
• Work directly with Kalmbach's pelleting system to ensure consistent superior feeds are delivered to our customers
• Become subject experts on the pelleting system with detailed knowledge in process flow and perform preventative greasing and adjustments to keep our systems running efficiently
• Work directly with team members across the company and departments to ensure that all policies and protocols are supported in our operations
• Document daily operations in a manner to support Kalmbach's document procedures
• Strive to keep correct and accurate inventories of ingredients, parts, and orders
• Work alongside other team members to complete needed tasks to keep our facilities clean and in the best operational order

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Evidence of analytical reasoning and mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide

• Agriculture (livestock/grain feed) industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of FSMA's Qualified Individual requirement and General Food Safety Plans is preferred
