Your role at Baxter:

This position is responsible for moving product through the distribution center, safely and accurately, while following all safety and company policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for maintaining a positive work environment by communicating and interacting in a manner that is conducive to the purpose and mission of the company overall.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Process orders, verify and apply stickers for inbound and outbound processes.
  • Process hazardous materials in accordance with International Civil Aviation Regulations.
  • Use a radio frequency terminal / scan gun to process product throughout the warehouse.
  • Use assigned individual security passwords.
  • Ensure compliance with all procedures related to regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements (including spills, damages, and returns).
  • Process and stage damaged product in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
  • Use correct pallets and packaging (as required by customer or country) to ship product.
  • Participate in projects/teams to continuously improve operation and key result areas (i.e., safety, quality, service and cost).
  • Utilize warehouse computer applications (WMS, RF equipment).
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Document complete pick/pack documents for freezer products and packing lists, as required.
  • Document inventory discrepancies.
  • Complete training assignments on time.
What You’ll Bring :
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic arithmetic skills with a calculator; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Basic reading skills; ability to interpret limited two‑ or three‑syllable words and recognize similarities and differences in words and number series.
  • Basic writing and speaking ability.
  • Ability to work overtime, as necessary, scheduled or unscheduled.
  • Understanding of temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems.
  • Physical ability to stand, talk and hear, use hands to handle materials, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel and crouch.
  • Capability to walk, lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
  • Necessary vision abilities (close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment).
  • Ability to work around moving powered industrial equipment, extreme cold and extreme heat.
  • Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Willingness to perform all assigned duties and any additional tasks, including cross‑training.
  • Strict adherence to all health and safety procedures.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more open with our pay practices. To that end, this position has an hourly pay rate of $17.50. The pay rate is based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
