Location:

Mississippi, United States. Salary: $50,000-$60,000.

Provides under the direction of a registered nurse, those aspects of patient care which have been previously learned/demonstrated in the nursing program in which enrolled. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Assesses the patient under the direction of the registered nurse.
• Contributes to the plan of care under the direction of the registered nurse.
• Implements the plan of care under the direction of the registered nurse.
• Participates in the evaluation of expected outcomes and goals under the direction of the registered nurse.
• Administers treatments as ordered according to policy and procedures under the direction of the registered nurse.
• Reinforces the health/teaching/education of individuals and groups of patients under the direction of the registered nurse.
• Participates in activities to improve health care delivery under the direction of the registered nurse.
• Builds knowledge and experience base regarding clinical leadership.
• Supports life long learning.
• Completes assigned goals.

Minimum

Required:

Enrolled in an approved nursing program preparing for RN licensure. Completion of one academic year of clinical courses in nursing.

• Computer literacy

• BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
