A typical day for a Registered Nurse includes:

• Ensuring delivery of unsurpassed care to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Providing medically prescribed services including ventilator and tracheotomy care, g-tube feedings, medication administration, and first aid care
• Supervising LPNS and caregivers
• Coordinating care with medical providers
• Ensuring compliance with care plans and guidelines
• Supporting our mission to promote independence and meaningful lives
• Training and developing caregivers and staff
• Supporting branch operations

Qualifications include:

• Support of Help at Home’s mission and values (Serve Others, Own It, Work Together, Do What's Right, Be The Best, Give Back)
• Reliable transportation within the surrounding 2-3 counties
• Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including DDID Medication Administration training
• A current Nursing License
• Compliance with state background screening requirements
