Pedi Care Nursing Agency is hiring compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for an infant in Lucedale, MS
.

We are currently seeking nurses for consistent overnight coverage Monday–Thursday
, with additional PRN weekend opportunities available. This is a great opportunity for an RN interested in infant care, tracheostomy management, and providing focused one-on-one nursing care in the home.

Location: Lucedale, MS
Position Type: Full-Time, Part-Time or PRN
Primary Shift: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for an infantin the comfort of her home.

• Tracheostomy care and airway management
• NG tube feedings and care
• Respiratory assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and ongoing nursing assessment
• Age-appropriate care and assistance with ADLs

Private duty nursing gives you the opportunity to step away from the traditional hospital or facility setting and focus on one patient at a time
.

• Provide individualized, one-on-one infant nursing care
• Work consistent 12-hour night shifts
• Gain valuable pediatric tracheostomy and airway-management experience
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and families
• Work independently while still having support from an experienced clinical team
• Pick up additional PRN weekend shifts when available

• Provide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care
• Perform ongoing respiratory and nursing assessments
• Provide tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management as ordered
• Administer and monitor NG tube feedings
• Monitor feeding tolerance, respiratory status, and overall patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and other ordered interventions
• Provide age-appropriate care and assist with ADLs
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
• Promptly communicate changes or concerns to the clinical team
• Educate and support the patient's family regarding home-care needs

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi
• Current BLS certification
• Current TB screening within the past 12 months
• Ability to meet all required state background screening requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• Pediatric, NICU, private duty, tracheostomy, or enteral-feeding experience is a plus
