ARMStaffing is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse, Long Term Care (Day Shift) in Baldwyn, Mississippi.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift: This position requires 12-hour day shifts from 06:45 to 19:08, with a biweekly schedule of 84 hours (48 hours one week and 36 hours the next week). Weekend and holiday requirements are based on facility needs.
Job DescriptionThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work at a 100-bed Long Term Acute Care Facility specializing in geriatrics, post-acute care, long-term care, and rehabilitation for ventilated and tracheostomy patients. The EMR system used is Epic. The LPN will provide vital patient care in a supportive environment, with an emphasis on flexibility and commitment to patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care according to established standards and protocols.
- Monitor and document patient progress, treatment plans, and vital signs.
- Assist with daily living activities and provide for the emotional and physical comfort of patients.
- Collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist with the administration of medications and IV therapy as required.
Minimum of two years of experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) is required, with vent experience strongly preferred. Experience in a facility with over 400 beds or in a Level 2 trauma center is strongly desired.
Certifications/Licensure- Current LPN license in the state of Mississippi.
- IV certification is required for this role.
- BLS (AHA) certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
