SUMMARY
Inspects and approves incoming and outgoing material/product by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable material/product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Prevents the flow out of defects to customers
- Performs inspections of incoming/outgoing product for quality defects
- Assists operations with sorting product as needed and or time allows
- Places material on hold via JDE (E1 system) until review is complete
- Ensures all material on hold has proper visual tags
- Conducts measurements on return material to make sure amount being returned matches RMA (Return material authorization) document
- Responsible for completing inspection and sort result documentation
- Detail oriented and able to recognize and report non-conforming processes…
