In this role as a Service Technician, you’ll maintain and repair aerobic and conventional septic systems for residential and commercial customers, ensuring their satisfaction with your excellent service. You’ll be equipped with a company vehicle for work hours, maintain its tools and equipment, and deliver top-notch customer service while communicating effectively with clients and our office. This is a safety-sensitive position, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols when handling hazardous materials.

- Conduct bi-annual maintenance on aerobic systems, including inspections, cleaning, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and fix aerobic and conventional septic systems, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues and replacing parts as needed.
- Keep company vehicle tools and supplies in top condition, ensuring readiness for all jobs.
- Drive to residential and commercial sites using the provided company vehicle.
- Access wastewater tanks, which may involve hand digging or operating specialized equipment.
- Log detailed, accurate notes on work orders to document services and issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or septic system certification is a bonus.
- Physically capable of demanding tasks like lifting heavy equipment, digging, and working outdoors.
- Able to use and read a voltmeter for electrical diagnostics.
- Confident communicator, able to explain technical details to homeowners clearly.
- Available for occasional evening/weekend work and on-call shifts.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and provide a current driving record (MVR).
- Schedule
:
Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime (nights/weekends) and on-call shifts as needed. - Environment
:
Exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather (rain, heat, humidity), and loud noise levels. - Punctuality and regular attendance are critical for customer satisfaction.
