Job Description & How to Apply Below
- Assist the Facilities Department with the Preventative Maintenance Program to support an Automobile assembly facility
- Be able to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, plumbing and electrical problems in an efficient and safe manner
- Have good problem solving skills, safety practices and attention to quality
- Be able to work alone or on a team
- Be able to work outside facility or inside facility on about a 50/50 time split
- Be able to occasionally lift and/or move 40 to 50 lbs.
- Be able to work safely in an aerial lift, on a forklift and on elevated work surfaces (Company training provided)
- Be physically able to walk distances, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs and ladders
- Be able to maintain a clean and safe work environment using 5S standards
- Pass CPR/AED and First Aid Training (Company training provided)
- Pass Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, PPE Training, and Electrical Safety Training (Company training provided)
- Follow all company safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines

- Working knowledge of Commercial HVAC units (Operation, filter changes, belt and sheave adjustments, and coil cleaning)
- Working knowledge of Industrial Electricity and Lighting
- Working knowledge of Industrial Plumbing and Fixtures
- Working knowledge of Commercial Dock Levelers and Dock Locks
- Working knowledge of Overhead Doors, High Speed Doors and Sectional Doors
- Working knowledge of Industrial Supply and Exhaust Fans
- Must be able to work the Sunday through Thursday from 6am-2:30pm.
