Material Handler I

Join our Customer Orders Packer department as a Material Handler I, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within our distribution center. Your responsibilities include picking and packing orders, verifying shipment labels, and confirming inbound locations. You'll contribute to maintaining a positive work environment by adhering to company policies and safety procedures.

• Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately.
• Verify and apply stickers for inbound and outbound processes.
• Use a Radio Frequency Terminal/Scan gun to process products.
• Document inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• Complete pick/pack documents for freezer products and packing lists as needed.
• Process hazardous materials following International Civil Aviation Regulations.

• Proficiency in using RF scanner and warehouse management systems.
• Experience with packing and packaging processes.
• Ability to lift and move up to 65 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read simple sentences and recognize word similarities.

Work in a climate-controlled distribution environment, with exposure to extreme temperatures. The shift is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Employees will be around moving powered industrial equipment and must follow safety protocols.

This is a Contract position based out of Byhalia, MS.

The pay range for this position is $17.11 - $17.11/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
