Position Overview

onX is seeking a Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager to craft partnership strategies, identify new growth opportunities, and nurture high‑impact collaborations. The role spans the entire partnership lifecycle—from ideation and negotiation to implementation and long‑term success—working closely with cross‑functional teams and external partners’ senior executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, prioritize, and support high‑impact partnership opportunities across onX’s verticals—Hunt, Offroad, Backcountry, and Fish—to achieve broader strategic objectives.
  • Support GMs and business unit leaders in building critical partner relationships and transaction pipelines.
  • Act as a strategic partner to product leadership, ensuring alignment of partnership initiatives with product roadmaps and business goals.
  • Manage all stages of major partnerships, from initial engagement through contract negotiation and execution, simultaneously overseeing multiple deals.
  • Develop compelling business cases and robust financial models for various partnership structures and outcomes.
  • Lead complex negotiations that create mutually beneficial outcomes and advance onX’s strategic growth.
Qualifications
  • Five (5) or more years in strategic partnerships, corporate development, business development, or management consulting, preferably in a technology‑focused setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to source, structure, negotiate, and close high‑impact partnership deals.
  • Strong business writing and presentation skills, with the capacity to distill complex ideas into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience building financial models and conducting scenario analysis to support deal evaluation and decision‑making.
  • Proven influence across cross‑functional teams and the ability to build trust with internal leaders and external partners.

  • Permanent U.S. work authorization.
  • Availability to travel to a corporate office in Montana bi‑annually.

How You’ll Be Compensated

Base salary range: $123,000 – $145,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Full‑time employees receive common share options, a potential 10% annual bonus, and are eligible for equity compensation.
