SUMMARYOF ASSIGNMENT:
Implement existing instructional plans in a manner that ensures the integrity of academic time and motivates students to learn and participate.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES(includingbutnotlimitedto):

• Instructstudentsregardingavarietyofclassroomtopicsandcoursesofinstruction.
• Follow lesson plansthatareprovided.
• Assignreasonabletasksandhomeworktostudentsinaccordancewiththelessonplans.
• Addressthevariouslearningstylesofstudentsaccordinglyandprovideaccommodations.
• Model correctuseofspokenand written English language
• Demonstrateprofessionalpracticesinteaching
• Maintain classroom control that fosters a safe, positive environment for all students and sta? in accordance with school, state, and all applicable laws and regulations
• Ensure adequate supervision of students and the classroom environment to assure the health, welfare, and safety of all students
• Provideaccommodationstostudentswithprovidedaccommodationplans
• Remaininclassroomandmonitorstudentsatalltimes
• Reportallstudentinjuries, accidents, illnesses, anddisciplineproblems toschool personnel immediately
• Supervisestudentsin out-of-class settings(e.g.,assemblies,lunchroom,schoolyard)
• Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect equipment, materials, and school property
• For long-term assignments, you may be required to develop lesson plans; create, administer, andgrade tests/assignments; participate inparent-teacher conferences; and attend school related functions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This type of work involves walking,standing,and sitting for extended periods of time as required by situations of job position. Perceiving the nature of sound, near andfar vision, depth perception, providing oral and written information, the manual dexterity to move related equipment, and the skills necessary to handle and work with various materials and objects are important aspects of this job. May be required to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
