This is a combined posting for an Associate Respiratory Care Practitioner and Respiratory Care Practitioner. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. The Associate Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. The Associate Respiratory Therapist should be a solid performer who is fully competent in all aspects of his/her job description. He/she is expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures. He/She will collaborate with Physicians and Nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care.
The Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. The Respiratory Therapist should be a solid performer who is fully competent in all aspects of his/her job description. The Respiratory Therapist possesses all of the core skills of the Associate level Respiratory Therapist. He/she is expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

Associate Respiratory Care PractitionerShift details: Per diem, 0.01 FTE (0.4 working hours), variable shift
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. Or
- Upon hire:
Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association - CRT with less than 5 years experience, must obtain RRT within 6 months of hire;
Or - 5 years of CRT and no RRT requirement
Associate Respiratory Care Practitioner, Salary Range:
Missoula, MT:
Min: $26.80, Max: $ 41.60
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Respiratory Care PractitionerShift details: Per diem, 0.01 FTE (0.4 working hours), variable shift
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
- Upon hire:
Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License. - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. - Within 90 days of hire National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
- Within 90 days of hire National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
- 2 years Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) Or
- 10 or more years Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC)
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
Respiratory Care Practitioner, Salary Range:
Missoula, MT: $30.15, Max: $46.81
