Certified Peer Support Specialist – Missoula, MT
Do you believe your personal journey can inspire hope and drive positive change? Are you passionate about supporting others as they navigate their recovery?
We’re looking for a Certified Peer Support Specialist to join our recovery-focused team in Missoula, MT. In this role, your personal experience will help empower others, foster connection, and support individuals navigating mental health and/or substance use challenges.
What You’ll Do- Provide individual and group peer support grounded in mutual respect and shared experience
- Build authentic, trusting relationships that encourage resilience and self-determination
- Collaborate with clinical teams to promote a recovery-oriented environment
- Model healthy coping strategies and wellness practices
- Current Certified Peer Support Specialist credential (required)
- Personal experience in recovery from mental health and/or substance use challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for advocacy and empowering others through person-centered care
