The Infection Prevention Expert is expected to work autonomously and serve as a mentor to other infection preventionists, bringing a high level of expertise in infection prevention strategy and practice.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology, or a related health sciences field, or equivalent education/experience
• Upon hire:
  National Certified in Infection Control – Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology
• 5 years of healthcare‑related experience
• 5 years of epidemiology or infection prevention experience

• Master’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology, or a related health sciences field, or equivalent education/experience
• 10 or more years of healthcare‑related experience
• 10 or more years of epidemiology experience

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
