This is a combined posting for an Senior Cardiovascular Technologist & Cardiovascular Technologist. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Assists with the performance of a variety of technical procedures including but not limited to percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac vascular procedures and open surgical procedures under the direct supervision of a physician. Participates in all daily duties necessary to perform high-quality patient care and imaging within the Cath Diagnostic Imaging Department. Responsible for obtaining optimal radiographs and assisting the physician in an aseptic environment.

Must be capable of patient monitoring and demonstrate knowledge of appropriate response to change in patient condition. Must maintain in-depth knowledge of complex diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular equipment supplies and be capable of assisting with their use. Must be available for on-call shifts as necessary.

The Cardiovascular Technologist's aim is to provide quality health care in the area of coronary and peripheral vascular angiography, as well as structural heart and electrophysiology procedures required by the Cardiovascular Department. This position requires professional and independent judgment in critical and stressful situations.

Cardiovascular Technologist

• Shift details: Full-time, 1 FTE (40 working hours), day shift

Required qualifications:

• Coursework/Training and Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Program resulting in registry eligibility Or
• Associate's Degree in Radiology Technologist
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire:
  National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire:
  National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International Or
• Upon hire:
  Montana Radiologic Technologist AND National Registered Technologist - Radiography (RTR) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year of catheterization laboratory experience.

Cardiovascular Technologist Salary Range:
Min: $35.97, Max: $ 55.83

Senior Cardiovascular Technologist

• Shift details: Full-time, 1 FTE (40 working hours), day shift

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiovascular program Or
• Successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program with emphasis in Cardiovascular training Or
• Applicable training/experience that allowed for obtaining the National RCIS, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, by challenging the RCIS exam through the CCI, Cardiovascular Credentialing International under the CCI OJT (on the job training Pathway) from 2011/2012 and sunset in 2013
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire:
  National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire:
  National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or
• Upon hire:
  National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International Or
• Upon hire:
  Montana Radiologic Technologist AND Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• 4 years Interventional Cardiac, Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology experience

Senior Cardiovascular Technologist Salary Range:
Min: $38.15, Max: $ 59.22
