Software Engineer IV; Technical Product Analyst

Overview

Software Engineer IV (Technical Product Analyst) at Vibotek LLC – 9-Month Contract to Hire;

Location:

Missoula, Montana (Hybrid - Onsite 3 Days/Week);
Eligibility: U.S. Citizens & Green Card Holders Only;
Rate:
Reasonable Market Rates.

• Analyze legacy systems and define modern service boundaries
• Write clear, detailed user stories with edge-case handling and system behavior insights
• Create technical specifications, API contracts, and data mappings
• Partner with Engineering, Product, QA, and external vendors for seamless execution
• Coach teams in story refinement and cloud-focused acceptance criteria
• Ensure compliance, performance, and data model fidelity across modernization efforts

• 5+ years in systems analysis, solution architecture, or technical product ownership
• Strong understanding of cloud-native patterns, REST APIs, and modernization strategies
• Experience with .NET, Azure, distributed systems, and SQL-based analysis
• Familiarity with DDD, Swagger/OpenAPI, and tools like Azure Dev Ops or Jira
• Background in healthcare, payroll, or compliance-heavy domains is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Leadership qualities with a knack for mentoring and guiding teams
