This is not a traditional dental front-desk position.
This is a sales-focused position for someone who enjoys talking with people, following up with leads, overcoming objections, and turning interested callers and online inquiries into scheduled new patients.
Your primary goal is simple:
Connect with prospective patients and get them scheduled and through our doors.
You will work with new patients who have contacted our office through phone calls, our website, online advertising, social media, and other marketing channels. Many of these patients are looking for solutions involving dental implants, sedation dentistry, dental surgery, periodontal treatment, or comprehensive dental care.
We are looking for someone who can make patients feel comfortable, communicate value, and confidently ask for the appointment.
What You’ll Do- Make outbound calls to prospective new patients and leads
- Respond quickly to new online and phone inquiries
- Follow up consistently with patients who have not yet scheduled
- Build relationships with nervous or hesitant patients
- Identify what prospective patients are looking for and help guide them toward the appropriate appointment
- Confidently overcome common scheduling, financial, and treatment-related objections
- Schedule new-patient exams and consultations
- Follow up by phone, text, and email
- Re‑engage older leads who previously expressed interest
- Help fill openings in the new-patient and consultation schedules
- Maintain accurate notes and lead status
- Track leads from initial inquiry through scheduled and completed appointments
- Meet individual scheduling, conversion, and show‑rate goals
This is a results‑driven position.
Success will be measured primarily by:
- Number of prospective patients contacted
- Contact/conversation rate
- New patients scheduled
- Percentage of leads converted into appointments
- Percentage of scheduled patients who show for their appointments
- High-value implant, surgery, and sedation consultations scheduled and completed
We care about results—not simply the number of phone calls you make.
CompensationWe want exceptional performance to be rewarded.
Base Pay: $20–$24/hour depending on experience
PLUS commission and performance bonuses based on results.
Example incentive structure:
- $10 for each qualified new patient scheduled
- Additional $15 when that patient completes their appointment
- Additional $25 for qualifying implant, surgical, or sedation consultations that complete their appointment
- Monthly performance bonuses for hitting new‑patient goals
- $250 bonus at 50 qualifying completed new‑patient appointments
- $500 bonus at 75 qualifying completed new‑patient appointments
- $1,000 bonus at 100 qualifying completed new‑patient appointments
A motivated, high‑performing individual should have significant opportunity to increase their income through performance.
