- Deliver water to a pit or construction site in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety rules and obey all jobsite speed limits.
- Be willing to do other miscellaneous duties assigned by a supervisor.
- Previous water truck driver experience is preferred.
- Current commercial driver's license (Class
A) with proper endorsements, a medical card, and a good driving record with experience in construction operations. - Demonstrate exceptional attention to and attitude towards safety.
- Work well with others and maintain a positive attitude while following directions.
- Perform daily equipment, walk‑around, and site inspections to identify and correct unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
- Mechanically inclined, able to troubleshoot and perform necessary maintenance on equipment safely and properly.
- Safely and properly operate equipment.
- Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high‑stress situations; be a self‑motivated team player with good interpersonal skills and maintain positive customer relations.
- Ensure safety and environmental regulation compliance.
