Job Title: Operations Assistant
Location: Missouri City, TX
Pay Range: $50,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr
Position SummaryLND Technical Services, LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our team full‑time. This junior-level role supports operational, financial, and human resources functions to ensure efficient internal processes and cross‑departmental collaboration.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, demonstrates professionalism, and is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. This position offers hands‑on experience in the electrical energy industry within a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, making it an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow their career in business operations or administration.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support:
- Perform general office duties including answering phones, scanning, filing, managing correspondence, ordering office supplies and PPE, and maintaining inventory.
- Manage travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, and shipping logistics.
- Serve as point‑of‑contact for internal communications and administrative requests.
- Support document creation and formatting, including project folders, reports, and manuals.
- Assist with internal record‑keeping, data entry, and digital file organization.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
- Send reminder emails as requested (e.g., expense submissions via Expensify, training deadlines, etc.).
- Assist with proposal submission as needed.
- Maintain business licenses and certifications.
- Operations & Project Support:
- Monitor insurance documents and request Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
- Assist with vehicle registration and maintain vehicle licensing records.
- Maintain accurate weekly or project‑specific timekeeping.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to gather compliance documentation.
- Additional Duties:
- Assist field teams with scheduling, supply needs, and report coordination.
- Assist in organizing special events, e.g., monthly birthday celebrations, holiday events.
- Act as backup for other administrative roles as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or GED required;
Associate’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred. - 2–5 years of relevant administrative work experience.
- Accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel);
Quick Books experience a plus. - Prior experience with time‑keeping, software applications, or cost‑control systems a plus.
- Experience with construction, energy, or field‑based environments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and adapt in a fast‑paced setting.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Physical Requirements
- Regular in‑office presence is required; remote work is not available for this position.
- Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of office materials or supplies up to 15 pounds.
- May require occasional local errands related to administrative or operational support.
