The Channel Account Manager for National Named Partners and Territory Support is responsible for building strategic relationships with key national partners and providing effective regional support. This role is crucial for driving sales growth by strategically aligning with Solar Winds objectives and leveraging market insights.
Responsibilities- National Named Partner Relationship Management:
Foster strategic partnerships with national partners, aligning collaboration with Solar Winds’ goals for growth and mutual benefit. - Territorial Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement sales strategies for assigned territories, optimizing partner strengths to meet market demands. - Opportunity Generation and Expansion:
Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts, collaborating with sales teams for effective pipeline management. - Interdepartmental
Collaboration:
Work with sales teams and executives to synchronize strategies and leverage cross-functional opportunities. - Pipeline Oversight and Resource Allocation:
Manage the national sales pipeline for named partners, optimizing resource allocation for high-potential opportunities. - Understanding Partner Metrics and Market Analysis:
Analyze partner trends to refine sales strategies, supporting a data-driven approach to business development. - Best Practice Development and Dissemination:
Develop and share best practices within the Channel Team to enhance partner relations and sales support. - Account Mapping, Deal Support, and Enablement:
Provide account mapping and deal support, enabling sales teams with training and resources to enhance performance.
- 5 years or more of Channel Account Management experience with expertise in strategic partner relationships.
- Proven success in aligning partnerships with sales objectives and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in developing territory-specific sales strategies and using CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Strong analytical skills to translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
