Job Description

Position Title:
Team member (DM / Manager) for Payable Accounting

Main Responsibilities

  • Fundamental knowledge of payables accounting principles, accounting standards and tax laws in compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
  • Review and processing payments of invoices through Accounts Payable (AP Module) of ERP/SAP.
  • For payment documents received from Business Users, ensuring completeness and adequacy of supporting documents as per internal control standards and compliance with respect to GST & TDS and other applicable statutory compliances like MSME, etc.
  • Processing & documentation for foreign payments like ocean freight.
  • Monthly and quarterly AP closing activities in compliance with applicable accounting standards including preparation of required schedules and getting the statutory and internal audit done for all assigned work areas.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives across the team.

    • Position Level: DM / Manager (Payable Module)

    Reporting to Departmental Head DPM (O2C)

    Required Skills:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)/ Cost & Work Accountant (CWA) with at least 3 to 7 years of experience.
  • Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)/ Cost & Work Accountant (CWA) with at least 12 to 15 years of experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of accounting standards and taxation laws (GST and income tax).
  • Hands-on experience of operating AP module of ERP system (Oracle/ SAP).
  • Good knowledge of ERP and advanced Excel with a focus on automation and digitalization.
